Celebrating Oman's 54th National Day at ISC-Muscat
On November 18, ISC-Muscat proudly celebrated Oman’s 54th National Day in a grand and spirited fashion, marking over five decades of the Sultanate’s prosperity, unity, and development. The school campus was adorned in vibrant displays of the national colors as students and staff gathered in the football field, dressed in traditional Omani costumes or the red, white, and green hues of the Omani flag.
The celebration began with the national anthem, uniting everyone in a moment of national pride and reverence. The air was filled with excitement as the event continued with an array of traditional Omani music and dance performances. Local bands filled the atmosphere with melodious tunes, while the rhythmic beats of Omani drums and the graceful movements of dancers reflected the rich cultural heritage of Oman.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the procession of horsemen and camels, proudly parading with the Omani flag held high accompanied by chants of pride and unity—a true spectacle and an embodiment of Oman's deep-rooted traditions. Throughout the event, poems were recited praising the Sultanate and its leadership, reflecting on the achievements and progress Oman has made under the guidance of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. These heartfelt expressions of love and loyalty to the country resonated deeply with all in attendance.
The celebration was not just a display of cultural performances, but also a reaffirmation of the bond between Oman and its people, and ISC-Muscat's deep respect for the nation’s legacy.
As we commemorate this special occasion, we extend our warmest wishes to Oman, praying for its continued peace, prosperity, and success. May the Sultanate thrive for generations to come, and may its people continue to enjoy the unity and peace that has marked Oman's remarkable journey.
Happy 54th National Day, Oman!
