SABIS® International School – Yas Island Hosts Second STEAM Competition: ISC-Muscat Excels in Robotics and 3D Printing
On Saturday, February 17, SABIS® International School – Yas Island hosted the second SABIS® STEAM Competition, which brought together over 280 students from 15 SABIS® schools in the U.A.E. Students got together to compete in four main categories: Electric Car, Drone, 3D Printing, Electronics, Robotics, Robotics Intermediate, and Robotics Juniors.
ISC-Muscat participated in 3D Printing represented by Hesham Hanouf and Yacine Al Hasani from Grade 9, Electronics represented by Loay Abdelrahman and Mouamel ELHarzali from Grade 8, Robotics represented by Moaz Salem and XU, Zirui from Grade 7 and Robotics Intermediate represented by Abdullah ALBarashdi and Al Khalil AlSinani from Grade 6.
The SABIS® STEAM Competition celebrates the many STEAM initiatives and clubs that are fostering innovation and creativity, while preparing our SABIS® students for success in our rapidly changing and increasingly technology-driven world.
ISC-Muscat is proud to secure the 3rd place in Robotics Intermediate and the 5th place in 3D Printing. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding achievements and to every participant for their hard work and dedication.
