The 6th Annual DELF Ceremony at ISC-Muscat
On November 6, 2024, The International School of Choueifat – Muscat (ISC-Muscat) hosted its 6th Annual DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) Ceremony, celebrating students' achievements in the French language. The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Nabil Hajlaoui, the French Ambassador to Oman, along with esteemed guests from the French Embassy, the French-Omani Center, as well as parents, school administrators, and teachers.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by speeches from Mrs. Azza Bustami, Head of the French Department, and Mr. Armen Mansourian, the School Director. Mr. Mansourian emphasized the role of language acquisition in shaping students into global citizens, opening doors to French universities and multicultural opportunities.
The Ambassador praised the school’s efforts in promoting French, noting that many Nobel laureates studied at French universities, often beginning their education with French language studies in private schools. The celebration continued with a performance of French songs by students and culminated with the presentation of DELF certificates by His Excellency Mr. Hajlaoui.
The evening concluded with a reception. ISC-Muscat looks forward to continuing this tradition in the years ahead, celebrating both linguistic achievement and cultural connection.
