ISC-Muscat Raises Awareness Against Drug Consumption: A Vital Session by Royal Omani Police
In an effort to combat the rising tide of drug abuse and its detrimental effects on society, ISC-Muscat took a proactive step by conducting an awareness session in cooperation with the Royal Omani Police, which took place at the ISC-Muscat’s auditorium on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
The lecture, attended by students, administrators, and teachers, aimed to shed light on the grave implications of drug consumption on both individuals and society as a whole, while also offering valuable insights on how to overcome the challenges associated with substance abuse.
Facilitated by officials from the Royal Omani Police Department, 1st Lieutenant Saeed Al Mahrazi and Lieutenant Aqeel Al Bahri provided detailed information and highlighted the complex issues surrounding drug abuse.
ISC-Muscat’s commitment to the well-being of its students and the broader community has served as a powerful catalyst for change. By fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility and participating in such programs, attendees were empowered to actively contribute to the creation of a drug-free society.
